THE PEOPLE OF SHREWSBURY TOWN
The photos here were taken on a Nikon D5300 with an 18-300mm NIKKOR lens. A shutter speed of 1/125 was used with F-8 and ISO 200. The shoot was meant to really capture the people’s lives in Shrewsbury and how people are independently. I got a total of 25 photos, I am happy with them all and think they came out well. I really tried to document their lives and capture their inner self without being noticed. Some photos may look like they are looking into the camera and that they know the photo is being taken but to do this without being noticed I stood far away and used a long lens to zoom in and shoot the image from afar. I met some lovely people on this walk around the beautiful town of Shrewsbury, many people were very interested in my work and what I set out to achieve. Candid street photography is my favourite type of photography as you get to know someone just by looking at their face, every photo tells a story. No one person is the same and in these photos, I like to think we can see that. Everyone has their own life and their own drama. These photos were taken to show that. I got a total of 25 photos.

THE PEOPLE OF HERTFORD TOWN
The photos here were taken on a Nikon D5300 with a 18-300mm NIKKOR lens. A shutter speed of 1/200 / 1/80 was used with F-5.6/11 and ISO 100/600. I spent some time in Hertford with family, while I was there I decided to get many photos of the people who live there. Everyone has a story, I like to supply a sneak preview into it. I often went to the pub whilst in Hertford with my family and would go on walks (whilst on one of these walks we discovered an ice-cream narrow boat). I loved seeing my cousin and grandparents whilst there. I played a lot of pool and got to know the area better than I ever did before. I got a total of 42 photos.

THE PEOPLE OF NANTWICH TOWN
The photos here were taken on a Nikon D5300 with an 18-300mm NIKKOR lens. A shutter speed of 1/200 was used with F-4.6 and ISO 100. The shoot was meant to really capture the people’s lives in Nantwich and how people are independently. I got a total of 14 photos, I am happy with them all and think they came out well. I went out and shot as much as possible. I had never done any photography in Nantwich before so this was a fun and new experience for me. I enjoyed it and will be doing it again in the future. As I live in Nantwich currently I only had to walk out my door and u the road to get to the town centre when I was shooting so this is a close and easy spot to get to. I was aiming to capture really good candid street photos, I didn’t want people posing and acting something there not, as when they see a camera they might smile or look away, I don’t want that, I want exactly how this person feels then and there. I want to capture the emotion from that exact moment. I think I did a good job at doing this here. Once again, I shot on a DSLR and made them look like film photos, I do not over edit these. Just up the texture and make them black and white, I try to keep them as original as possible. I took a total of 14 photos here.

Ye Irish People
The photos here were taken on a Nikon D5300 with an 18-300mm NIKKOR lens. A shutter speed of 1/125 was used with F-6 and ISO 100/400 and using the selective color effect built into the camera. This shoot took place in Ireland, I was at a hot air balloon meet in Ireland flying, and while I had some time, I thought I would get some photos. despite the name "Ye Irish People" not everyone in this series is Irish but were all in Ireland when the shoot was conducted. some were Irish, some were English, and some were American. This was the first time I've ever been to Ireland so, I wanted to capture a lot of photos, I went to Ireland to take part in the Hot Air Balloon Ireland annual meet, as my father is a pilot and i am a pilot in training. I enjoyed my stay and was very happy to be able to take so many photos. I got a total of 29 photos.
